Ron loved living on Mersea and enjoyed a busy social life, being a member of West Mersea Bowls Club, MICA Carpet Bowls, Community Support breakfast and lunch clubs, dancing at the MICA and gardening at Akhurst Court, Refresh Mersea and at the allotments.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Vanessa, Georgina and Elliott, and his grandchildren, Stanley, Henry, Felix, Eddie, Sebastian and Francesca.

Ron’s funeral service will take place at Colchester Crematorium on Monday nth December at 1pm.
